The covers were already scratched when they came although the packaging wasn’t damaged. What’s worse is that during the application my brand new Mac got scratched by the top cover of this cheap case as it turned out that the two corners which are supposed to click around the screen weren’t the same size: in fact one is bigger than it should be which caused friction on the laptop corner once I applied the slightest pressure.
