**Q: Is the color white or off white ?**
A: It is off-white when compared side-by-side to my other very white dishes. I took a photo but don't see a way to upload it. Cellini is a creamy off-white color as the other commenter suggested, not a pure cool white.  I would not go so far as to describe it as ivory, as I consider ivory as having more of a slight yellow undertone than off-white.

Beautiful, strong, dishwasher safe. Quality is such that it can be used for formal occasions (I use with my sterling and crystal), but durable enough for daily use and dishwashers. I have had this plate for decades and only need to buy replacements on the occasion I drop one during an outside BBQ. The best!
