## Description

Water resistant Nike+ SportWatch features TomTom GPS for accurate speed and distance information, indoors or out-even if the GPS signal gets interrupted

Review: Great watch for the runner/student of exercise science! - I'm sure my review will not be the greatest because I don't know all the ins and outs of the technological world, but what I do know is I love this watch. I wear it everyday. I was required to purchase a heart rate monitor watch combination for my exercise science course and I decided to go with this product. Mainly because of the Nike+ involvement I was already in, I figured I could continue using their program and support their programs by buying their products. The reviews for this watch are great and they are true. I have had so many compliments on my watch and I love the way it looks. I especially love the convenience of having my speed, avg. pace, distance, heart rate, time elapsed, and clock displayed all on my wrist in watch form. (How cool is that?!?) I am amazed at technology and absolutely love the availability of the information provided. I love that the watch is waterproof. I work with preschool children and there's never a day that I don't have at least two spills on my hands from drinks or paint water. I am constantly washing my hands and I don't have to take the watch off. the charge of the watch lasts about 2 weeks for me even running 4-5 times per week for 30-60 minutes. I use the alarm as a backup to my nightstand alarm clock. and being able to view my history of runs is great for being prepared for my class. I can prove to my professor that I really did run yesterday if he questions me.
Review: Run for cover. - Got this watch after falling off running for about 6 months, so I needed to justify spending $150 on something. Nike has a solid piece of equipment here, if not too basic. Features include pace, speed (mi/km), laps (auto/man), GPS, est kcal burned (never use this for any device) GPS always works well, sometimes takes a while (1 mile even) to find me, but that makes sense since I'm running 6" miles!! If not working, it syncs my footpod and my times always match up. Pace is my least and most liked feature. Keeps me going, but frustrates me. I can't seem to get lower than 5'55" miles. argh. I'll just have to return it for one that makes me faster! The nike+ software online is solid. really cool ways of staying on top of your running like routes, goals (run more, run farther), trophies earned for different milestones (fastest, longest, most runs in a week, etc); keeps track of total miles, and compares you to other runners in your age group. Has a route feature similar to mapmyrun but not as good. I brought this to the UK when I studied abroad and had a fun time bragging about my international runs on Facebook. In all this watch is comparable to the garmin 210/610, if not a bit bulkier and more basic. Not very familiar with the Garmin Fit software, but they seem comparable. Nike is more sports-tastic and fun, whereas Garmins is a bit more technical. Either way, the watch is solid. Some complained that the usb port on the watch (right at the edge of the strap tucked under a plastic flap with hinges that folds back to expose the port, will break easily. I could see this, but mine's still in tact and I'm about as careless as they come. Cheers nike.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product, great setller
*by E***H on June 8, 2014*

I bought this item because I've been using the Nike+ app to keep track of my runs but I'm training for a marathon and my phone battery won't last the length of my longer training runs so I decided to upgrade to the GPS watch - also I'm going to be doing some of my runs out of country and can't use my data, but the GPS works just fine. The only thing I'm upset about is that I didn't get it earlier! I love this thing. I bought it used and it works perfectly and looks pristine. You can even set it to do intervals - it plays a few notes when you've set it for "run" vs "walk". Oh...I guess I do have one annoyance, which is that it's kind of gross to have plastic against your sweaty skin, but I'm going to sort that out with wristbands and such.
