## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do these come with the test lamps/buttons?**
A: Yes, the ones that I purchased, have a separate test button from the power/charging light. So if it's a new install, you're going to have to drill 2 small holes into the ballast cover for the test button and lamp. I hope this helps.

**Q: Would this work with led tubes?**
A: After unsuccessfully trying 5 different brands of direct replacement LED tubes, I called Bodine tech support. They confirmed my experience that this B100 ballast will not drive LED tubes. They also said that this ballast does not play well with low mercury, energy saving, green tubes.

**Q: Hi, may I know how the battery takes over when there's power outage? It's uses senser? or others?**
A: You have two "hot" wires and one neutral wire. The first hot wire is connected to the light switch, the second hot wire is connected directly to your fuse panel.  When you have a power outage, the second hot wire goes dead prompting the "emergency" situation.  The emergency ballast will light one of the two bulbs in your light fixture.

**Q: Is this work for led t8 120v**
A: If you use LED bulbs that are compatible with the existing fluorescent ballast (plug-and-play tubes), YES. These only work with ballasts. It uses power from one lamp and turns that one on during a power outage.
