They hold tight, are elastic and adjustable, virtually non-absorbent compared to cotton laces, don’t drag on the floor when properly trimmed which is great in gym locker room and other public restrooms. I use these laces on all my sports and golf shoes. See the photo of my upgraded golf spikes. Regular shoe laces used to be 99 cents a pair, not anymore.
