A: Yes it has one audio & video output in rear of unit. I installed unit in my motor home & ran line up to my main TV & works fine

A: I assume it's an extra piece because I can't display it thru my phone..

A: Yes when you get a call, it ring through the unit.  And it does mute the audio. The sound is very clear too.
