Dakine Gemini Backpack

The bag is great; it can spontaneously open on you and throw your stuff every where if the zippers for the main pouch aren't in the "correct" position.

Great backpack! I love being able to unzip the main compartment a full 180 degrees, and the other compartments/pockets are just what I need. The laptop section is very well protected, and I love the fact that there aren't any mesh water bottle pockets etc. on the outside and able to snag on things. This keeps everything sleek and I have gotten several compliments on it.One note that may be of interest to some is that the internal water bottle pocket can fit a 40oz HydroFlask, but it is a very tight fit. Anything bigger would likely be a problem when trying to slide it in and out from the outside.This was a replacement for a Dakine backpack that I purchased back in 2007. After 7 years it was pretty well beat up and dirty, but other than an elastic strap that had failed I had no other issues. The quality on this new pack seems to be equal or even better. I recommend it.

Cool design but the quality is garbage. The shoulder strap on my bag started to come off slowly the fabric started coming apart. I barely used the bag too. It was very shocking cause my Dakine Bag I got as a gift back in 2008 is still in perfect working condition, and I abused that bag. The zippers on this bag are also weak and snaggy. The Zippers on my old Dakine have NEVER given me any issues they open, close and glide to perfection. They feel industrial and well made. The new Dakine zippers feel light and cheap. Really let down with the quality of this pack.

This backpack is awesome! It has a ton of space and compartments for you laptop, tablet, pencils, calculators, and other necessities. It looks great and is built very well. It appears to have a waterproof front pocket, although I cannot confirm that but the zipper seems to have a watertight seal to it. It also had a secret compartment in the back that you can easily access. Dakine really outdid themselves with this backpack and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a sleek looking backpack with a lot of space and compartments for your school supplies.

Super spacious, tons of pockets, and allows me to stay super organized. I've used it for school, international travel, and just all around day-to-day use and I always know exactly where everything is. The bag is durable, great for those who travel as the laptop section is TSA-ready, and the pattern matches my Dakine Split-roller bags. I've purchased a number of Dakine bags and this one just tops them all.

This is a good quality backpack with a good amount of compartments. It's also lightweight and comfortable. The design is not too flashy which is perfect. Amazon shipping is fast as always.

So many functional pockets in this backpack. This bag holds the perfect amount of stuff from electronic devices to clothing, to my bike lock.

Nachdem ich gut 10 Jahre lang den Dakine Campus hatte (sieht immernoch fast wie neu aus!!!) wollte ich mir einen Rucksack für die Arbeit holen, der auch ein Laptopfach hat. Dieser ist um einiges besser als die günstigeren Versionen von Dakine oder anderen vergleichbaren Marken!- Super extrem gut gepolsteter Rückenteil der sowohl innen alles schützt, als auch super angenehm fürs Tragen ist- Super Tragegurte!! Extrem wichtig!- Tolle Aufteilung innen- Super geiler, breiter TragegriffBester Rucksack den ich bisher in den Händen hatte, zig mal besser als die gehypten Herschel (Kollegen haben die guten teuren Modelle davon, nur Probleme) und andere Marken.

Nach nur 2 Monaten sind beide Träger oben eingerissen! Dabei wurden darin lediglich Papiere und 1 Halbliterflasche Wasser zur Uni und zurück transportiert! Sehr ärgerlich! ÄUSSERST SCHLECHTE QUALITÄT!NACHTRAG: Wir bekamen Ersatz von Amazon und der neue Rucksack hält seitdem gut und die Träger sind nicht wieder gerissen. Daher von 1 Stern auf 3 Sterne. Einziges Manko: der Reissverschluss für das große Fach öffnet sich teilweise immer wieder ein Stück!

Vor gut einem Jahr habe ich mir diesen Rucksack gekauft. Soweit macht dieser auch einen guten Eindruck. Leider kann er auf Dauer den Qualitätsansprüchen nicht genügen. Schon jetzt ist feststellbar, das der Tragegriff in ca einem halben Jahr abgerissen sein wird, ein absolutes No-Go. Auch verstellt sich immer wieder einfach so ein Gurt und dies ist nicht zu verhindern.

Ich benutze den Rucksack um meine Technik zu transportieren, McBook, Laptop, Kabel Ladegeräte, einige Powerbanks, Tablet und meine Kameras incl. Stativ. Passt alles und ist gut geschützt durch die integrierte Polsterung. Tragekomfort ist super und durch die Aufgesetzte Tasche kommt man schnell an Schlüssel, Handy oder Tourguides. Klare Kaufempfehlung!!!!

Rücksack ist sehr groß, wirkt aber optish kompakt. Da passt wirklich alles rein, ob es um Einkauf geht oder eine kurze Reise mit Handgepäck. Sehr gut verarbeitet, einwandfreie Qualität und Design. Sitzt sehr gut auf dem Rücken und hat genug Taschen für Schlüssel, Dokus, Laptof, Tablet etc.
