I set it in the garage for several days and it stunk up the garage! So I cut them off, no big deal. However, that revealed the rough unfinished weld where handle meets blade - they didn't even try to grind it down and smooth it out.Still, they are fantastically sharp and seem very durable, now that they don't stink. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best.
