ATX-300-12ZCDR 300W Power Supply for HP Pavilion Media Center

We had no trouble installing the new power supply which appeared identical to the one inside that had died. Just be observant about the connections on the original. One mistake we made: mark all the connectors that are NOT attached as well as the ones that are. Fortunately we had marked all the necessary attachments. After installing, we turned the PC on and it worked perfectly! How delightful!

The power supply worked okay, but not all my problems were solved. The old power supply was damaged by a power surge and I am afraid maybe some of the memory might have been damaged also. This is on an older computer that I don't use very often and I haven't had time to replace the memory. The computer works now that I replaced the power supply but it is very slow.

Power supply works as expected except for one major issue. The HP Pavillion I ordered this for had 4 sata connecters. The photos show 4 sata connecters. The power supply I received had two sata connecters. Lucky for me I had a spare adapter from 4 pin IDE to sata on hand. Other than that, it is very quiet, and does a good job of cooling.

We're having issues w/our computer...cuts off when you press the on button so a computer geek friend suggested that the power supply may need changing as the computer was purchased in 2006 even though we have a Dell computer older than this and it still works, we purchased the power supply. Amazon.com was the only place we could order it from and at a reasonable price! It was the correct one for our machine but didn't fix the problem. The power supply worked, it just wasn't the problem that needed fixing.

I was diagnosing a suddenly non-booting desktop. Original power supply would run fans, nothing else. Bought a Power Supply from Microcenter...that when installed did LESS than the original! (it did NOTHING). Returned it and decided to not buy another from Microcenter. Still unsure of "real" problem. Could have been other things, like the mother board...I took a chance and ordered this PSU from Amazon. Fast delivery, Exact OEM match to original, Easy in install (plug and play)....Desktop booted up perfectly first time. I'm so happy! Save me hundred of dollars I might have spent for a new computer! Thank you again Amazon!

I ordered the ATX-300-12ZCDR 300W Power Supply for HP Pavillion Media center and was greatly disappointed and quite frankly put off from ordering this type of electronic item from an online vendor. I had to pay shipping and handling $6.98 and now must more than likely pay out of my pocket an additional $6.98 or more to retune the defective item. One of the wire in the twenty-four (24) pin connectors was missing the copper connector inside one of the plastic holes that is connected to the motherboard. Unfortunately the motherboard was not happy about the missing item and refused to work. It is bad enough I had to wait for 5 days before I could try to get my desktop computer back up and running. As a result of this defective part I must again wait several days for the returned item to be processed for a refund, now it seems I will be waiting several more days there after to purchase it locally. This was my first time ordering somthing of this nature and based on this experience will find it extremely difficult to trust ordering anything else. One would think that an item such as this would have been completly inspected, but I must remember that this is a human error. Funny on the enclosed invoice written at the bottom is the following, "Order Verified By F. Is that someone's initials or the grade they gave this device. UPDATE: Seller called me and was very sincere and concerned about the issue. Offered to wave the customary restocking fee. As a result I would purchase from this seller again.

I bought a new Dell desktop two years ago. Its 350 watt Bestec power supply failed this morning after using the computer only during the daytime. That was a premature failure.

The power supply is as described. Installed in less than 10 minutes. It is a slight upgrade (revision) from the one I needed but works great. Shipping was also prompt. I actually arrived a day early.Very satisfied. Computer (HP A-1110Y) is back online less than 1 hour after initial installation of Power Supply.
