With my naked eye, I can barely see it if it has a smoke trail.** A: You need to have a magnification of 10x or even much higher. Additionally, you’ll need to steady your binoculars with a tripod, or by learning against or across an object -such as the hood of a car- or your image will be shaky. Really, a spotting scope would be best. Otherwise, the launch will still seem quite far away. Also, binoculars are NOT limited to 8x magnification. **Q: Does it work for long range Elk hunt?** A: It only works for Deer, Moose and Elephants...just kidding :) it would work for any hunting if it helps you see **Q: Are these considered "High Definition"?** A: It does not say high definition, but they are very clear.
