Review: great buy! - This is a great picnic blanket! I bought it to be an outdoor waterproof playmat for my son and it's perfect. It's huge, and sturdy. It was a little difficult to fold bag up exactly the way it came but the velcro strips that hold it shut are wide that it catches and stays closed up in the carrying bag regardless. When folded it's much heavier than I anticipated but when it lays flat it's got good heft. I like that it's waterproof but it doesn't feel plasticy or make you sweaty when you sit on it. Great buy!

This blanket is exactly what I was needing for use in the park. Easily unfolds and is large, sturdy, and waterproof. Cleans easily with a damp cloth. Folds nicely and have a sewn-in handle for easy carrying. I warn you,however, the plastic smell is awful at first. I aired it out and wiped it down with wipes, left it open overnight and then folded it back up. Helped with the smell but it is still somewhat present. I am hoping it fades away with time.
