## Questions & Answers

**Q: is it color safe?**
A: To be honest, I'm not 100% sure. I have used it on whites, beiges, and light colors but never on dark colors. There were no issues with the fabrics I used it on. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

**Q: I have a red rec!iner. I see it works well on !ighter colors but is it gentle enough for dark colors?**
A: Honestly, I have only used it on light colors. I would trust it on my red chair for sure. Just remember to blot it after you spray it. That’s the trick. Spray the product on the stain and then use a paper towel to blot the wet edges of the area you sprayed (so you’re actually blotting the spray itself). That prevents a mark left by the stain remover.

**Q: How is this product for odor control? My cat peed on an uphostered chair there is no staining just odor. I have tried pet urine products. Thanks.**
A: Try using Zero Odor. It is sold by Amazon and is the best odor remover I have ever tried. It also removes pet stains. My son-in-law recommended it to me and he was absolutely right! Here is the Amazon URL: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_4_9?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=zero+odor+pet+odor+eliminator&sprefix=Zero+Odor%2Caps%2C146&crid=2H8L527VKOA2S
Recently I have found another Zero Odor product that will remove odor from washable items in the washing machine. It really works, too. Just 4 squirts added with liquid laundry detergent when running a load of stinky laundry.

**Q: Does this come in Gallon size?**
A: A quick look at the product list on the Zep website shows the Oxy Carpet and Upholstry Stain Remover only available in the 32 fl. oz size.

I purchased this product several years ago and found it to be the best stain remover I’ve used. It has successfully removed stains from chairs and carpets, and is a must for households with pets and/or children. It did not require excessive dabbing or scrubbing.
