I have owned it now for two years and even after meticulous care with provided oils etc the board has been a major disappointment. First issue - the ring around the cutting board has come loose from the board. This happened right at the handle so that when you pick up the board you cut yourself. Second two major splits have occurred in the board and the ring has separated from the board. Finally the board is bowed and wobbles on the counter. I called their service line about the first issue and their reply was - outside of 12 months too bad. When you spend a couple hundred bucks on a cutting board I would think it would last more than two years but no such luck. I’m going to throw it away now but thought I would share so others don’t make the same mistake I did. ### ⭐⭐⭐ I removed it and it is fine without it *by M***F on Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2018* The metal rim was loose when I got it, so, I removed it and it is fine without it.
