However, this product is by far better and more realistic "snow" both in feel and appearance. It is like a magic show everytime and stays so realistic looking for days. White, light, fluffy and cool to the touch. The only small downside is it does not pack like a snow ball if that is what you want to do. I didnt want that anyway-so this product is perfect for a visual of fake snow. I would love to know if it is also Sodium Polyacrylate or something else, or if they have other "ingredients" to make it so much better than the other Sodium Polyacrylate only products. The other products I have tried are much heavier and clumpy/lumpy (which might be good if you are trying to make "snowballs") and not fluffy and appear more clear or ice looking instead of white and snowy. Review: Messy, but cool - My 13 year old wanted instant snow, I wasn't sure what it was so this one seemed reasonably priced. My oh my did it work well, she only used a little bit and it made a bucket full of snow, her carpet did get damaged in the making, but that was on her. ## Features - Maddie Rae's Instant Snow, Makes 5 Gallons of Fake Artificial Snow - Just add water and watch it fluff into snow in seconds! No stirring or mixing required. - Best Snow Powder for Cloud Slime, Made in the USA - Safe Non-Toxic - Maddie Rae's Instant Snow can be used year round for snow play, floral arrangements, Frozen theme party, winter snow theme photography, holiday displays, special events, slime and more! - Lasts for days and can last up to weeks! Once snow loses moisture, re- wet to fluff it into snow again! ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07NS8S8B3 | | Additional Features | Long Lasting | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Best Sellers Rank | #32,672 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #7 in Artificial Snow | | Brand Name | SCS Direct | | Color | 1 Pack | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 843 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Creative Thinking, Imagination Development | | Item Dimensions | 3.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 inches | | Item Form | Powder | | Item Volume | 5 gallons | | Item Weight | 7 ounces | | Manufacturer | SCS Direct | | Manufacturer Part Number | de214324266505acbfd65cc0ff0a1153 | | Manufacturer recommended age | 36 months - 17 years | | Material Type | Sodium Polyacrylate | | Model Number | de214324266505acbfd65cc0ff0a1153 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Size | X-Large | | Sub Brand | Maddie Rae's Slime | | Theme | Frozen | ## Images ![SCS Direct Maddie Rae's Instant Snow XL Pack- Makes 5 GALLONS of Fake Artificial Snow-Best Powder for Cloud Slime, Made in USA - Kid Safe, Non-Toxic, School Project DIY Art & Craft, Holiday Gift - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81MCUIAXNtL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this turn into butter slime? (Like non sticky clay/putty slime) or textured slime?** A: No, it turns into 'fake snow' - kinda grainy and moist. It's used as a add-in to regular slime to make it crunchy or textured. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Fake Snow *by A***. on September 28, 2026* It is more expensive than other similar products (Sodium Polyacrylate) if purchased in larger quantities. We have successfully made many batches of cloud slime and haven't even made a dent in the amount provided. It's super soft and fluffy, and fast/easy to activate. I would buy it again, but I don't see how we will ever make that much slime! ## Frequently Bought Together - SCS Direct Maddie Rae's Instant Snow XL Pack- Makes 5 GALLONS of Fake Artificial Snow-Best Powder for Cloud Slime, Made in USA - Kid Safe, Non-Toxic, School Project DIY Art & Craft, Holiday Gift - Amazon Basics Slime Activator Solution 1 QT (946ml), Baking Soda, Transparent --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/112611726-scs-direct-maddie-raes-instant-snow-xl-pack-makes-5](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/112611726-scs-direct-maddie-raes-instant-snow-xl-pack-makes-5) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
