I use a stainless steel soup pot and these little things keep the bags firmly anchored to the side. You only need one magnet inside of the pot. (I wasn't sure if I would need to put one in and one out... but no, only one is needed.) I have not tried it on a plastic or glass container, which I imagine would require a magnet on each side. At any rate.... no more floating bags of food... no more hunting for something to weigh the food down. I can anchor the food to the side or bottom of the pot. My hammer was getting rusty being being used as an anchor under water so long. I don't even need to look for a large rock. I like that I can place the bags where I want them... and am not limited to hanging them from the side, wondering if they are deep enough. They do their job. Nice size, roughly the size of a quarter, good strength, they do their job.
