SnapeZo Poster Frame 36x48 Inches, Black 2.2 Inch Aluminum Profile, Front-Loading Snap Frame, Wall Mounting, Super-Wide Series

Not the best quality but I decided to keep it because I needed something quickly to protect our artwork. The frame is metal. I like the pop open feature. It’s easy to place your artwork and then just pop the frame back in. The frame pieces don’t line up though and the corners are worn down a little. It comes with two PVC sheets. One is clear, the other has a more matte texture to it. Both PVC sheets had dents in them. I’m assuming it has to do with how it was handled because it appears as if it got bent either during manufacturing, packaging, or shipping. The frame itself is floppy and is packaged in bare boned packaging. It comes with hardware to hang but I haven’t had time to do so yet so I can’t comment on the hardware. I’d recommend this frame only if you have no other means or time to find a better frame. It’s better than nothing but not by a lot.

So after doing a bit of research on 27x41 (vintage, pre-90's movie poster size) frames I came across SnapeZo, a Chinese product that uses front to back tension to sandwich the print between two thin plexi sheets. So far I'm quite impressed, as poster installation was simple requiring no tools at all. To mount the frame to the wall, I used 4 large pairs of command strips instead of the flush mount option supplied in the package. The one thing I would suggest is to take care with placing your print in the frame as I noticed some of the metal had rough edges and burrs that could cause a tear or hole in the paper if improperly placed. Overall it's a great solution for framing large prints and posters.

For the price, you will not find a nicer poster frame. These are 100 times better quality than the typical plexiglass types found most everywhere else, not to mention they are cheaper too! Customer service is outstanding, I received 2 e-mails from the company before UPS even delivered them, making sure I was a happy customer, and offering glossy outer panels (they come with a matte finish material) if I decided I wanted a glossy clear panel, at no charge to me.I am extremely pleased with these frames. Hanging them was simple, took less than 5 minutes. these screw directly to a wall, rather than actually "hanging" like a typical picture. The outer edges are spring loaded, and flip up, allowing you to change the poster without having to unhang or disassemble the frame, simply flip up the outer edges, and you poster is easily removed without damage. Plenty of spring tension to hold a poster securely without it slipping in the frame. I'm fairly certain these are the exact same frames used by my local movie theater, being that they are a "quick change" style of frame. Absolutely love these, and will be ordering more in the future.I did not receive these for review, I payed actual price for them, and I am just that impressed with them.

It's a perfectly fine frame, but pretty cheap looking and flimsy. Paying $120 for something on a par with a $20 frame from Ikea is pretty damn annoying. I needed a frame, and am not about to drive over to Ikea during the pandemic, so I'll keep it, but I would never in a million years have paid this much for it under normal circumstances.So understand going in that you're buying a $20 frame and paying $100 for shipping.

I arrived quickly and with the hardware to mount it. It looks good and well made. I would recommend this product to friends.

Built a light box for this frame. Came out awesome and my kids love it in their room.One thing : the super glossy protective screen and the diffuser came fairly warped and the front one is noticeably warped as well. Is their any chance I can get replacements for these?

Easy to use, looks great, if needed would buy again

I like that it had the hinged pieces to put the poster in. I didn't like that it wasn't actually 36x48 inches, it cut off the side of the map I put inside.A good product, but don't expect to see all of a 36x49 poster, because the frame will cut off the sides.
