I'm a pretty small frame, but still carrying a lot of extra baby weight (6 months pp with my second). I ordered the M/L. The shirt is cozy, but a bit baggy on me, and not quite flattering. The sleeves are kind of long and loose too. Although, I'm not sure how much is the shirt and how much is just my current shape/size. If the smaller size isn't better, this will at least be a nice comfy lounge around the house shirt. I feel like I should run off to the Science Center! The material is soft, but not ultra soft. Don't expect the soft fuzzy unwashed fleece feel - it's more of a soft jersey. Medium thickness. Sizing was spot on. My only complaint is that it arrived with a very strong petroleum smell so I had to wash it before even thinking about wearing it. Luckily the smell washed out.
