## Description

The Scented Sinus Pillow by Kozy Collar is designed to provide moist heat and relief for sinus headaches, ear aches and it is the perfect size for children’s booboos. By storing them in the freezer between uses, it restores the natural moisture that the microwave draws for natural moist heat therapy. The Sinus Pillow can be used hot from your microwave misted for moist heat, or cold from the freezer. We use Lavender, Peppermint, Spearmint and Chamomile only all natural herbs for our aromatherapy. It's soothing, not too strong and most people tell us that it smells like “sleepy time tea” The one thing we DON’T want is to overwhelm you with something that smells way too strong.

Review: Great hot and cold - My wife and I both suffer from semi regular migraines. If I stay aware of the aura I can usually take meds and stop it before it gets too bad but occasionally they really get away from me. When it gets to that point the only solution is to get in a dark room and cover my eyes. It's best if I can have total silence and minimal odor/touch/taste ... basically sensory deprivation if possible. I find that the cold helps me. When a full blown migraine gets going it's like my eyes are hot, boiling hot and the pain goes from behind my eye and back through my head. Taking this out of the freezer and putting it on my eyes helps with that feeling, and blocks the light without suffocating me (unlike my pillow). The scent is pleasant when I'm feeling well, but warmed is outright overpowering when I have a migraine. If it's cold the scent is less strong and works well. The only time I had trouble was before we started using a freezer bag. It smelled like the freezer and that caused me to feel much worse. I highly recommend storing it in a freezer bag if it's in the freezer because it will absorb odors. Warmed up I actually like it on my neck. It's a nice shape to wrap around the neck and help relax the muscles. It's also good for sinus headaches when warm. The scent isn't a problem with those headaches. The warmth makes my sinuses feel more open. My wife likes to use it warm. Often I'll put it on my eyes out of the freezer till it warms up just because it feels good even without the migraine and after it warms up my wife will microwave it because she enjoys how it feels after it's been heated. So far the material has held up well and there have been no problems to speak of (other than learning the hard way that it should be kept in a freezer bag).

Love the soothing smell of this hot/cold pack. Stays warm for 30-40 minutes. Just a little heavy around the nose and sinuses. But still would purchase again. Helps sooth migraine
