Most restaurants use MSG to heighten the flavor of their sauce, and Organic Asian Fusion does not, so the flavor is not as strong, but to me that's a totally acceptable trade-off to avoid the unpleasant side effects that MSG can cause. The consistency of the sweet & sour is also not quite the smooth, thick syrup that you'll find at restaurants. It has a more natural, "homemade" texture with what seem to be traces of apricot bits, but again, this is not a problem for me. I'm glad I found this organic option for sweet & sour sauce. They have made a loyal customer. - I had some raw shrimp and some Thai Kitchen Fried Rice, from desertcart, so I decided to saute them with this product. It was delicious. After removing the jar from the fridge and pouring some into the heated pan, it thinned out considerably. I don't mean it became too thin or watery. Not at all. It just went further than I expected, pleasantly so. I ended up adding more rice. A delicious and cost effective product. I will certainly buy it again...if I ever finish this bottle.
