I searched long and far for a PS that could deliver 8+ amps at 12 volts. I settled on this one and what a dream it has been.It supplies 6.5 amps while barely getting warm. Yesterday, I accidentally connected a 10 amp load for about 8 seconds and it took it with no complaints. When my inline ammeter showed 10 amps, I quickly disconnected the load. But it does show that this is a high quality supply.
