It does a good job and circulates the air well even when I had it set in low. My only other baseline for the air movement is an old air conditioner blower that we converted to a fan like this, which puts out a lot more air, and two rentals that were from Home Depot. They don't put as much as these do.Not sure if the advertised 1600 cfm is accurate, as I have no way of testing it. I have run them 24/7 for a week and they're still working, so I'm pleased so far.Other than the operational qualities, the plastic seems sturdy, the switches work well.
