The Extech EN300 is a compact, rugged 5-in-1 environmental meter that simultaneously measures air velocity, light intensity, relative humidity, temperature (including via Type K thermocouple), and sound level with IEC Class 2 accuracy. ## Description

The EN300 Measures Humidity, Temperature, Air Velocity, Light and Sound. Rugged 5-in-1 environmental meter with tripod mount and RS-232 PC interface. Large dual LCD simultaneous display of Temperature and Air Velocity or Relative Humidity. Characters on display reverse direction depending on Hygro-Thermo-Anemometer or Light-Sound Mode. Data Hold, Min/Max, Auto power off, Low Battery/Overrange indication. Built-in low friction vane wheel improves accuracy of air velocity in ft/min, MPH, m/s, km/h, and Knots. Built-in precision thin-film capacitance humidity sensor for fast response. Built in thermistor for ambient temperature measurements. Type K input measures temperature to 2372° (1300°C). Utilizes precision photo diode and correction filter for Cosine and color corrected light measurements. Sound Level measurement meets IEC 61672 class 2 using A frequency weighting and fast response time. Complete with Type K thermocouple probe, pouch case, and six 1.5V AAA batteries.

Review: Très satisfait - Bonne qualité de construction et extrêmement facile à utiliser, il y a les 5 mesures et une fonction Min/Max, basta. Personnellement ça me vat. Concernant la mesure sonore j'ai obtenue 27dB dans un quartier très calme la nuit. Même si en deçà des 35dB minimum mesurable spécifié on est plus garantie Classe 2 ça semble être assez précis quand même. Concernant la mesure de température il y a une sonde interne et une prise Type K juste sous l'anémomètre. Sonde Type K fournie. Une sacoche, une boule micro noire et 6 piles AAA sont aussi fournies.

**Q: Does this product have certified NIST**
A: No, Extech does not offer NIST calibration on the EN300.  Most products are available with NIST at an additional cost, but the EN300 is not available w/NIST.

**Q: What is the minimum wind speed that this anemometer can measure accurately? I'm currently looking for an anemometer that can measure wind speed <1 m/s**
A: wind speed measurement for the 407113 CFM Anemometer is:
MPH: 1.1 to 78.3
knots: 1.0 to 68
km/h: 1.8 to 126
AIRFLOW:
CFM = FT3/MIN: 0 TO 999,900 CFM
CMM= M3/MIN: 0 TO 999,900 CMM

**Q: The equipment can be calibrated with 407722 ??? (Sound)**
A: This meter can use the 407001 software via the PC interface to view the parameters in real-time on the PC. You cannot log all 5 parameters at the same time. You can use the 407022 to calibrate the sound level mode. I hope you find this information helpful.

**Q: Is the 9 volt battery replaceable?  Does it have a tripod mount?**
A: Yes the battery is replaceable however it is a 3V #2032. To my knowledge no tripod mount is available.

Bonne qualité de construction et extrêmement facile à utiliser, il y a les 5 mesures et une fonction Min/Max, basta. Personnellement ça me vat. Concernant la mesure sonore j'ai obtenue 27dB dans un quartier très calme la nuit.
