I like to wear watches that have some history behind them rathen then wear watch just because it has a "brand" bane stamp on it like "Lacoste" "Prada" Gucci" "channel" these companies are there just to put their name on watch to make a sale, Seiko on the other hand been making watches for 80+ years if i am not mistaken. and for $88 this watch is a Steal. thank you. i love the watch

In this day and age it's nice to feelsome things are deals and good value for your money. This is one of those things. I've owned Omega's and others. I love, absolutely love this watch. I bought one in black and the two of them will last a very long time. A automatic watch that works perfect and is sutble and beautiful for this price is amazing. Love it!!! Buy two. I needed a watch something I can wear with a Dress Shirt at work. this does the job, simple, slick watch, little bit looks like a Rolex watch from the distance.. i am sure you will agree, great heritage watch from Seiko, they been making these watches since the 60s I believe, Alot of history behind these watch. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice watch for the price

This watch is very attractive. My previous watch was a Seiko 5 Superior, this is just the Seiko 5, and the difference is readily apparent. This watch is considerably lighter, and has a cheaper feel to it, particularly the band. No complaints however, it was also half the price of the Superior, and still looks nice and keeps good time. And automatics with glass backs are just cool! I read somewhere that the "Superior" line has been discontinued. If you are looking for a more solid feeling Seiko 5, try the Seiko 5 Sports line, though I have read not all of them are different from the base Seiko 5 line. FOLLOW UP: Still using the watch every day nine months later. I have had other watches that needed to be regulated - have the speed of the timing adjusted - in order to keep good time. Maybe I was lucky with this one, but it is remarkably accurate, maybe losing a minute or less every 2-3 weeks. 1.5 YEAR FOLLOW UP: After wearing watch almost every day for about 1-1/2 years it has started to gain time, maybe 30-45 seconds per day. Will try to regulate it, and otherwise is in great shape. 5 YEAR FOLLOW UP: Still using watch every day, never regulated and still gains a little each day, works great! Band has aged nicely.
