## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Learning one night at a time
*by F***O on June 18, 2020*

The mount is very sturdy and easy to assemble. It is heavier than expected. The counterweight should have been 2 smaller ones instead of just a big one. I'm doing backyard astrophotography so I only need to move it a short distance. An AC DC power adapter was bought to use instead of the one supplied with the mount. Polar alignment was easy to perform. The hand controller is good, a little bit confusing sometimes since it has 4 directional arrows in the middle and 2 more arrows at the bottom and I tend to go for the 4 in the middle when is the 2 at the bottom that need pressing. Last night I managed to mount the guidescope side by side the camera and lens using another dovetail. So far still learning to control and find the objects. The manuals are kind of ok but there are plenty of online resources to view as well. Connection to PC software was also done last night and it was somehow successful. I'll give an update in a month or so. 4 stars because of the counterweight and the need for another cable to connect Synscan hand controller to PC.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great EQ Mount
*by T***F on October 12, 2016*

Great mount, easy to use and quite accurate if aligned properly. I have been getting 60 second exposures with no star movement. Really like the mount. It is very stable but still light enough to lug around. Well worth the money. I just picked up a guide scope and have not used it guided yet.

### ⭐⭐ Can't handle the weight.
*by M***. on June 19, 2018*

The item on here quoted a higher capacity weight than what the accompanying documentation states. Tried with my telescope and it can't handle the advertised weight. The documentation seems to be correct while the item specs on here are wrong.
