This was my Christmas Present from my husband (that I picked out) and It is perfect in every sense of the word and it stands out among my collection of different pieces because of the deep rich purple spikes that sparkle & shine in the light. It has a really nice energy that feels clean and calming. Mine is closer to a pound and has a unique overall shape and even where it was smoothed out in the back it's beautiful with the light grey, dark grey & black stone. Then you have a layer of clear crystal and purple Amethyst tips. No cracks or flaws to be found and it stands upright really good because the base is perfectly level (we checked with a tiny level) and worth every penny as a show piece. Review: I bought the 500-800 gr amethyst crystal. - This is so pretty! The purple is a bit darker than I was expecting since Amethyst can vary from lighter to deeper tones. When the light hits it you can really see the shimmer. I set it on a standard post-it note so you can see size. It's just slightly taller than it is wide. They buff down and polish the edges so that part is smooth, the rest of it is just natural. I'm so pleased with this purchase that I had to share. These Deep Purple Project stones are more affordable than many out there and they are beautiful.
