They are memory foam unlike others that say they are. I wear these for almost 12 hours straight while at work. They are very comfortable. They are larger so they cover the ears without touching. The sound is slightly changed but not in a bad way. On my ath-m50x it brings a little more low bass response. The volume needs to be turned up a little to compensate for the larger area in the pads and the memory foam absorbs a little sound too. Quality seems to be good. Only time will tell if they last.
