I'm using it as the brains behind my (fairly) new HTPC and it performs admirably. Currently I have XBMC running on top of Windows 7 x64. Its able to handle play back of 1080p video, including Blueray, and 5.1 audio without any hiccups, stutters, and it stays at a very comfortable 40c (+/- 1 or 2 degrees) even after hours of use. I coupled it with a Gigabyte GA-MA785GM, 4GB of DDR2800, and an 80GB 7200RPM drive.
