It's sits high so I never have to worry about my hand and counter colliding when I'm chopping something. When I first received it I used a paper towel and rubbed the entire board down with coconut oil. A nasty, wood-colored something stained the papertowel but now the board has an elegant shine and is protected against the water and the juices that come from whatever I cut.I haven't used it in the dishwasher, I would recommend against it, I used soap and water in the sink with a very light abrasive sponge.I would recommend treating it with coconut oil every 5-10 washes/uses as to keep it properly hydrated against splitting and cracking. I feel like it also seals it so the juices don't seep into the wood. All in all, great purchase. I get so many compliments because I leave it on my counter when not in use. It's that beautiful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars if Amazon had packed it a bit better. *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2016* The cutting board is lovely and I think it would have arrived in one piece, if Amazon had packed it a bit better. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars split *by N***) on Reviewed in the United States on May 26, 2017* split after just a couple of days --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/10506068-15-round-acacia-end-grain-cutting-board-by-mountain-woods](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/10506068-15-round-acacia-end-grain-cutting-board-by-mountain-woods) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
