Designed the United Kingdom and manufactured in the EU specifically for the British vehicle market. Make those panels as dead as a Dodo! The Dodo Mat Difference Butyl Construction Dodo Dead Mat Hex has a high grade butyl compound for better sound deadening & vibration control. The unique Dodo specification chemistry of the synthetic butyl core effectively deadens panel vibration without the excessive bulk of competitor products. Instructions How to Install Dead Mat Hex Surface Preparation: The surface you are treating must be clean. Remove any dust or rust. Use a degreasing agent or appropriate organic solvent to degrease greasy surfaces. Cutting: Use a Stanley knife or similar to cut the product to the desired shape. Application: Pull back the entire adhesive backing and press the mat onto the metal panel. The use of a roller tool may help remove pockets of air and provide a more even application. Heat: If the ambient installation temperature is over 10°C, heating is generally unneccessary. However when applying to complex or inverted surfaces, warming the material can make application easier. Review: Great stuff, works a treat. - Very good stuff. Actually bought this to reduce condensation build up on my metal sunroof panel in my car which during cold weather was almost like an upside down swimming pool. Sound deadening was an added bonus. Easy to cut to size, very good adhesion. No requirement for my application for flexibility but is reasonably flexible (probably plenty flexible). I spray glued a black fabric over the top of it to match my headliner. Worked an absolute treat, absolutely no condensation build up on it since, has remained totally dry! I also have plenty left over so will do the same with the actual inner side of the roof next time I remove the headliner. Certainly good value for the amount you receive although I wouldn't want to pay too much more. Easy to install, just make sure you measure 3 times, cut once, and plan the method you'll be sticking it down. Once it tou he's something, it doesn't like being lifted off again to be repositioned (extremely sticky, and will stretch while being peeled off the shiny aluminium foil covering).

Very good stuff. Actually bought this to reduce condensation build up on my metal sunroof panel in my car which during cold weather was almost like an upside down swimming pool. Sound deadening was an added bonus. Easy to cut to size, very good adhesion. No requirement for my application for flexibility but is reasonably flexible (probably plenty flexible). Worked well in a Fiat Spider. I put about 10 sheets in the boot area and it's made a big difference to noise. Extremely sticky and a bit fiddly but worth the effort.
