The light is in the Sensor Mode which means the light is only activated when the sensor detects movement. Then it stays on 30 seconds or less; which was perfect. When it worked it was bright and very helpful. I ordered another one that was delivered February 15, 2019 it is still working great. It is also in the Sensor Mode. But very unhappy that the one we received February 8th (and put up Feb 10th) since it is no longer working. Certainly they should last longer than 2 months.??? Per instructions there is a 12 month warranty. On Amazon it shows " We have a 45 days money back & 12-month warranty." Hope the company or Amazon will help.Update 4.27.2019: The company contacted me immediately and apologized for the inconvenience. They offered a free replacement or refund. I chose the replacement. They are sending the replacement now and it should arrive in seven days. Great customer service and stands by their products. Will update again after receiving and having up for a few days.Update 5.1.2019: Received the free replacement light 4/29/19 (fast 2 day shipping). Installed 4/30/19 and it works great. Thanks for the great customer service/satisfaction.
