### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dynamic Disinfection

If you want something so effective that hospitals use them for disinfection, this is it.  As might be expected, they will sting on open cuts, but that's the purpose in the first place.  Only one restriction:  when tearing them open and will using the swab, keep the package vertical.  There's excess disinfection solution in the package with will pour out if the swab packaging if you invert it.  You can, if desired, dump this residual on the swab itself for additional disinfection.

### ⭐⭐ Not effective, bad cotton swab

These were barely passable as effective. I'm a nurse and use butadiene swabs all the time, they are usually like cotton balls on a stick saturated in betadine and leave a good amount of betadine on the skin after you swab. These had firmly wrapped cotton on the end of the stick and while they were wet, the cotton was so firm that when you swabbed the skin it barely left any betadine behind. My surgeon wants me to swab my incision and then let it dry for 5 min, with these swabs it was dry after just a few second because of how little liquid was left on the skin. Maybe I got a bad batch, but they look perfectly fine and undamaged, just not an effective design.

The betadine swabs arrived so dry that they were useless.  I can't afford the prices at the local medical supply stores or drug store chains so have now switched to alcohol wipe.  A really disappointment.
