Made in America Hand Craft Yarn Swift Material: Hard Maple Wood This brand new hard maple swift/skeinwinder was handcrafted in a Ohio workshop. This model is the large swift which has been finely sanded until smooth. The swift is designed to be used on any level surface such as a table or the floor. We use 5/16" birch dowels that are adjustable to 4 different positions along each of the 3/4" arms which are able to accommodate skeins 24", 36", 48", 60", and 72" in circumference. This swift can be used to turn hanks of yarn into center pull balls with your ballwinder (not included), or to wind a hank from loose yarn. The swift disassembles for easy storage.
