Onec I open the box, I can see immediately that my cat loves it. He just stay there purring and napping. It looks so comfortable. The pillow has a removable cover for easy cleaning. That’s what I want.The fabric is polyester. All the sewing lines are in good quality. It seems to be really good, tough quality, and hopefully very waterproof. My dog has always had this weird behavioral thing where she pees on her beds (vet has ruled out medical issues) so we need something waterproof. My issue here is that this company is clearly using (badly) photoshopped photos because there is absolutely no way that a Collie and a Retriever are not taking up the entire Large sized bed, and are probably even too large for it. I have a 65 lb. lab mix and she is almost too big for the large. She takes up the whole bed. A pillow and bolsters on the sides. His first bed was a real pain to wash because the cover wasn't removable. I saw this and it met everything he needed and what I wanted too. I extremely like the fact that the pillow can be replaced if needed with whatever you can fit in it.My dog likes to paw A LOT before finally settling in so I was wondering how durable it would hold up over time. its getting close to a year and its held up extremely well. I can see some scratches on the pillow, but nothing has broken through. Waterproof is a bonus as my dog has thrown up in his bed and the interior pillow/bolsters did not get wet at all.Now I knocked a star off for durability because some of the interior stitches are starting to come undone that keep the corners together.I recommend air drying because by accident I dried on normal heat in the dryer and ruined the inner layers. It says you can dry on low heat but I wouldn't risk it. The lining is falling apart more as I take it apart to wash, but I now air dry only and that seems to have slowed down the deteriorating.
