Reminded me of my Late Mothers mild and creamy Sri Lankan curries she used to make for me as a child.These Malaysian Curry Pastes are quick and easy to prepare. 1 to 1.5kg's of chicken on the bone, peeled, halved or quartered potatoes, 250ml water, 200ml coconut milk. I like to hardboil 4 eggs in the curry as it cooks away. Once it is all cooked, I eat it with some fresh cooked Macaroni. Unless this is no longer an option so I am always trying “Malaysian” curry power or paste to find a good alternative. I quite like this in terms of taste ((though not as good as the ones my mother used to make of course) but some may find it a bit spicy. Not all curries in Malaysia is spicy (hot). Maybe if I add more liquid in next time it won’t be as spicy as some of my friends won’t be able to take it.
