I was looking for a "mouse pad" like mat and this fit the bill. The print quality is great, the mat is a slim thickness but that works for me. It is pricier but I think the quality is worth the extra money over a regular vinyl mat (which I also have, too glossy). The color is vibrant and minis move well over top when you want them to.
