I bought a "rugged" one that is quite a bit wider and the material is thicker, with metal attachment points. I just feel more secure carrying it around my neck with a better strap. The camera is quite good, too. **Q: Would this do well at the back of an auditorium in low light? Also, my hands shake, is there a setting to compensate for this?** A: No, and no. I love this camera for outdoors, but it has no stabilizer that I know of, and shots taken in low artificial light (made by light bulbs, etc.) turn out a bit grainy. **Q: What type of battery does this camera run on?** A: 4 AA batteries, but it sucks the energy like you wouldn't believe. Always keep spares on hand. It's a great camera, but not-so-great battery life. **Q: does this camera come with a manual and a warranty or can you buy a warranty** A: No, it doesnΒ΄t come. It doesnΒ΄t come with warranty. It Just has a manual.
