## Description

The 3rd Generation (Mk IV) Universal Field Sight Pusher is the do-it-all solution for the home gunsmith. Not it only changes the dovetail sights of your guns (both front and rear), it also compacts as to fit a thin pocket of your range bag or a corner of your gun case. This helps you to always be ready to adjust the sights of your guns whenever needed at the range without requiring you to disassemble their slide. The hardened alloy steel Pushing Heads allows the tool to fit different sight profiles and move them efficiently. The Glock 42/43 tool set includes the "Universal" and both "Glock Standard" and "Glock 42/43" versions as to also fit all Glock factory style sights. The Adapters allow the tool to be attached to the slide without causing mars, while also increasing it's effectiveness. The tool set includes the "Universal" adapters which makes the tool function on flat sided (or square shaped) slides at the rear and most slide designs at front. Features, versatility, durability, quality and value. These are the defining characteristics of the Gen 3 Universal Field Sight Pusher.Don't hesitate in contacting us, especially inquiries in regards of compatibility! ### ⭐⭐ Not an Easy Sight Pusher Tool to Work With
*by J***E on June 4, 2018*

I found it time consuming using this tool to remove standard factory steel sights from my Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 slides. The slide doesn’t have a full flat surface like Glocks, therefore, you’re required to angle the slide to expose a larger flat surface area for the pusher plates to grab on to. Due to the slide contour, it was difficult to keep the plates even. Top of plate kept coming in further than the bottom requiring you to stop and readjust. While turning the bottom tightening knob, the threaded portion would move the slide forward and out if alignment with the sight. IMO, I wouldn’t expect to pay more than $45.00 for this tool. I’m sure you would get better performance, more stability out of a square metal block with sight pusher riding on a threaded rod inside of the unit. The tool eventually accomplished the task, however, it was quite clumsy doing it. This rating considers the price, ease of use and performance. I had difficulty interpreting the video instructions due to lack of clear, concise language.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic quality, very easy to use, worth the money.
*by O***T on May 22, 2018*

I do not own or have ever tried any other sight adjustment tools, but I've carefully considered all options, watched a ton of videos and read a lot of reviews.Basically, you either get something for $40 (and the quality is dubious at best) on one side of the spectrum or a Wheeler for $160 or an MGW Sight Pro for $350.Smack in the middle for ~$100 you have an XL handgun sight tool or the RST (this one). The RST seemed to have a better fit and finish, does not require the use of any other tools, and can be used in the field. It comes with an instructions manual, links (QR codes) to YouTube videos with detailed instructions (again), and the tool is just incredibly straightforward to use. It took me 15-20 minutes to read the instructions, carefully assemble the tool, adjust the slide, and finally perform the sight adjustment on my HK VP9 SK.Exactly what I wanted -- and kudos to the inventors of the RST!

### ⭐⭐⭐ Works for Bersas, but...
*by T***R on October 6, 2018*

I purchased this tool hoping it would work on my Bersa Thunder 380, and it does, with a few caveats. While the blocks are almost small enough for the rear sight, neither one of the included ones fits the sight angle. I had to use the flat block and set it above the slide once it touched because it was just a hair too wide to fit in the dovetail groove. As a result, it tore up the rear sight block (didn't matter too much as I was replacing them with tritium sights), and because of the weird angle of pressure, it bent the end of the pusher bar and locked the block to the bar. Two of the clips that keep the block from rotating or falling off broke (I didn't bother with the third one), and I had to hold the block with my fingers to keep it from turning. Pushing the new rear sight in went fairly easily, and the front came out and in with no problems. I had to use pliers and a vise to get the block off the pusher bar after I was done.Otherwise, the tool was easy to use. I like that I can switch the magnetic spacer block and polymer inserts in and out without having to disassemble the whole thing. It holds the slide tight and square. And, it breaks down into a small package that will easily fit into a pocket or pistol case for adjustments at the range.Overall, I'm fairly satisfied with this tool. I would like the clips to be thicker. Even though they're designed to break before you damage the gun or the tool, they're just a little too flimsy when working with a stubborn slide. I don't anticipate changing out the sights on my Bersa again anytime soon, but if you are, I'd recommend getting the Glock 42/43 block also. It has a shallower angle that will probably fit better. I'd also use a penetrating lubricant, not CLP like I did.
