Not only does the Nexcon supersede Apple in durability of this cable, it is much more attractive in the orange and black stripe. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Apple products, but seriously, anyone who owns more than one Apple product can agree that the cables need some major improvements. Nearly all my cables have frayed just at the end, either near the USB or Lightning, making charging my device a tricky process. Sometimes I have thought my phone or iPad was charging, but because of the frayed end with exposed wires, I found my phone with less battery than when I placed it on the charge. If you have found yourself in this same situation, frustrated with Apple's crappy cables, then, look no further for an excellent replacement. This is the best cable for the price. I have used the Amazon brand of cable, which is a great cheaper alternative, but since trying Nexcon, I really can't justify going a step down. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Durability an Issue - Good Warranty *by C***Z on Reviewed in the United States on June 2, 2017* (Edit) Nekteck reached out to offer a replacement. They have a 12 month warranty, so they sent me a renew one free and clear. Works great so far.I was hoping the braided nylon would protect the wire connection to the lightning connector, but it seems to have lasted no longer than any of the other cheap cables I have tried. This cable was definitely not abused and only lasted me 7 months.
