But after shopping through hundreds to find one that was slim, elegant, and had a little personality for nights when I wanted to be a little dressier I found this one. I have no idea what kind of wood it is; it's very lightweight and stiff. It seems sturdy enough for me but I can't picture a huge man using this because it's so slim.I don't think I'll use this for every day. The handle became uncomfortable with my carpal tunnel after testing it out for a while on errands. But for an evening out or perhaps business I think it would be perfect.Note: It has a rubber tip built in, not a rubber cap, so it can't be cut down easily. Luckily it's the correct height for me. I'm not sure how that tip would be replaced if it ever wears down.
