Those complaining that it isn't firm should read about what they are purchasing, rather than give a low review. I had much rather a soft 5-6 inches of support than a hard piece of dense foam of the same height. The cooling cover is soft and smooth, which is good because it doesn't cling to the sheets--this makes it easy to slide around (unlike a regular pillow) when you want to reposition it at night. I do find that the cover pills, but for me that is not a big deal. It is also easily washable. And it is not sweaty or hot on the skin, even under very warm covers. Love that. It does arrive squashed flat in the packaging, and includes clear directions for fluffing it up in the dryer. Do what it says, and the pillow will poof up just fine. As to customer service: After about 3.5 months, I removed the cover again to wash, and a bunch of the foam fell all over--the closing seam had torn open. I was so sad. Up to this point, I bought cases that were 8" and stuffed it with latex foam pillows and that works, then I saw this one and gave it a try. I really like it. I would go for a bit more stuffing but I am happy with this. I hate the memory foam pillows and they don't hold their shape, I've tried MANY!! The latex foam does hold its support and changes as I change position. So this is a keeper.
