This has had a small amount of juice added to it so it is more liquid than the fruit itself and has been "cooked a bit" (from the canning process I guess) but my family likes to eat it with a spoon. It would make a great smoothie also. The taste is just a tad sweeter than this fruit when it is at its full ripeness. However, the taste is the BEST BY FAR from the different versions of juices and drinks I have found so far. I would order it again.
