Not only do they put off nice, even light, but they look like actual bulbs.I showed these to my neighbor, who has sold commercial lighting for longer than I have been alive. He has seen and sold it all. Not these, though. These were new to him. He said they were the most natural looking LED bulbs he has seen to date.If I had to list one negative, it is that the rubbery coating grabs dust and cat fur, and is difficult to keep clean. The light comes more from the sides as expected. can't be exposed to weather or enclosed fixtures. still it looks good, a real nice bulb with limited uses. Always cool enough to touch. Rubberized coating on the glass. Absolutely fantastic lamp for slightly subdued but not mood lighting. A very honest to goodness representation of 2700K light. If you are looking for super warm, you will still want a long filament Edison (beautiful golden orange glow).
