Is it clear?** A: I printed a photo I took from my regular ink jet printer. It is clear, I used the transparency for a sun print on fabric but you can project the image using an overhead projector for other purposes. **Q: Do I need a certain printer to use this?** A: This is specifically for an inkjet printer. Laser will melt the ink jet surface. If you want to use a laser printer, you can use normal overhead transparencies with no coating. Those are usually not dark enough, but can be if you double them up and scotch tape them together. **Q: Can you use a laser printer?** A: Laser transparencies are available everywhere cheaper. These are specially coated for inkjet and are waterproof on one side. Ink jet ink gives a darker negative for better prints. The negatives I print work well, but on the most recent package I received, the transparency had marks on it where it was rubbing against the cardboard of the package. It left marks that showed up in my negative and in the image I printed.
