I did it in conjunction with a Takeda CAI. Total time for the install including installing the intake gasket below the lower plenum half was just about an hour. The included directions were easy to follow and logical. Once installed it definitely work up my '06 G35 quite a bit. Again, at the same time I did a cold air intake so the intake noise was quite a bit more pronounced. The performance is definitely there, you really feel it make a difference when the engine gets up past 3k and pulls better through the entire rev range instead of falling flat at higher rpm like it used to. Sadly I didn't get a chance to compare real horsepower gains on a dyno, but the butt dyno and smiles per gallon easily justify it. And even with more performance I saw a very slight increase in MPG which I attribute to the better flow characteristics. Definately make sure you read ALL INSTRUCTIONS and have ALL TOOLS described in instructions prior to any installation for sure. Doing that will save you two days of installing versus two hours.
