Really impressed, not amazing fits with the screws but these totally did the job, made a bed for a teenager and holding up well so far

As others have said, they don't line up correctly, with some extra attention, this isn't a huge issue. The main problem is I have 4 identical brackets, 2 are meant to be mirror images. Useless.

One was bent at 90 degrees in the wrong place so I had to add wooden spacer and work around this particular one. There wasn't enough time for me to return and wait for a replacement. Otherwise these worked really well and allowed me to easily build a bed that could be taken apart for easy transporting and installing. I was pleasantly surprised how well they worked, although rather disappointed that one was faulty.

If you don't want gaps you must route or chisel out a 6mm recess. If you look at my photo you can see that there is an extension of one plate beyond the other.The second thing that bugs me about this is that you have to drill a hole through where the big securing screw recieves the hook. It's great, you hook it together but to tighten it down the screw hits the wood.You don't need to drill the hole first, fix the plate and then drill the bigest diameter hole you can without damaging the thread. Try not to go all the way through the timber like I did once.I thought I was buying something really easy to use but it is far fiddlier than I wanted.I haven't actually had the bed under load yet but the bracket design seems robust.

Very well made fixings that are so much better made than many others. The ability to tighten the fixings once they have located on the studs prevents subsequent movement causing fixings to come loose.
