Herpa610735 - Icelandair Boeing 757-200 Hekla Aurora, Aeroplane Multi-Coloured Blue

Hekla Aurora is a dream plane, its exterior paint rocks!I'm collecting 1/200 models and this truly shines withing bigger models such as 747, 787 or 777 who are indeed monsters in size. I'm sharing some of my experience so you can get a better idea of this model:- Packaging: Herpa does a great job here, plane is inside a box and a plastic protector, so it doesn't get damaged nor scratched.- Easy to assemble: few pieces to have it ready for display- True to its scale: on my photos you can see it next to a 787-9 and a A340-600 (1/250).- Very detailed painting: plane name, code, country flag and even Icelandair logo is in place, not to mention all the aurora colors- Basic stand: This Herpa model is cheap so don't expect a fancy stand- No gears: again, this model is cheap- Turbines do not spin: cheap model... but they are detailed and you can see through themI love this model, in 1/200 it rocks!

Beautiful model delivered very quickly

I received this item early which is great but the packaging was heavily damaged, luckily the product was not damaged or pieces missing best I can tell on fist look. Knowing this probably was opened to go through customs I wish it would have shown up in a ridged box. The model detail seems to be pretty good quality, graphics are nice and the reason I purchased it. All in all seems like a good product but couldn’t give it higher than 3 for my experience.
