Best series I have ever read.
After reading through the first few books I realized this story was my soul familiar. The genre brings the story to life like no other fantasy story. I find myself experiencing such personal satisfaction as richter and the mist village grow in power and face harder and harder enemies. I can’t wait to continue the story.

Great series, great writing, totally engrossing!
Where do I begin? I haven't ever read a single litRPG, but I intend to read more after tearing thru this series. The characters are great, the emotion is raw and relatable and the writing is fantastic.

Yes, this was worth the wait.
I waited for this book for months...and then longer. It seemed as if it were never going to be released. The longer it took the longer the idea clawed at the back of my mind...it couldn't possibly be worth waiting this long. That voice has been silenced. Slain. Crystallized and shattered. It was worth the wait. Utterly. All of the crunch and high adventure we have come to expect from the Land are here yet again, but bigger. The revelations and advancement of the meta-plots alone make the book worthwhile. Add in the resolution of previous outstanding items in a truly spectacular fashion and this one will grab you and hold you to the very end.

Could not put it down!
I am a huge fan of this book series, and have been since day 1. Aleron Kong's writing style is so close to so many great authors it stands out as a true talent in the world of literary fiction. The world building, character development, plot hooks, game mechanics, even the point of view of a hormonal woman in the guise of a dragonling.... all of them are woven so masterfully in this grand tapestry that has been woven over the last 6 books. This book answers so many questions and leaves you gripped the entire way through the book. This series has me as gripped as I was reading "The Dark Tower" for the first time.LONG LIVE THE MIST VILLAGE!!LONG LIVE LORD RICHTER!!LONG LIVE LORD MIST!!GNOMES RULE!!!!!!!

Speechless!!
Very few times in my life have I been left absolutely speechless. This book has done that. I am in complete awe and astonishment. I have no words or comments. I feel like this is only the beginning and can not believe it ended ! Aleron Kong, you sir are a genius and a poet! You have brought the land to life and have let everyone experience a true masterpiece! My only qualm is: why can’t I contour reading? Why must I wait yet again for another volume? If they ever make a game out of your book series I will be a life long member playing it! Thank you again my friend for one of the best times. Looking forward to the next one!

For the MIST!
The longest of the series to date and there were a few points where it almost felt like the author had put three books together to make this single, larger volume. However, it was amazing!!One of the prime complaints for previous books is dangling quests or plots and not enough focus on moving forward. I highly doubt anyone is going to have that complaint for this book. Pretty sure there's even a joke about a quest having been completed for some time and only just now being turned in. If you can't poke fun at yourself, right?A complaint from others about this book is the appearance of unneeded filler to make the book seem larger. I like having all the data handy but I'll admit I glossed some of the info panels. The book had some spots where it seemed to revisit ALL the previous data. The complete loadout, all the spells and skills, and basically everything that could be displayed. Yeah, I skipped some, but I would rather have it than not. Those points aside, I loved it! I've been waiting to get back into The Land for some time now and I was not disappointed (except when I hit the last pages of the book because I knew it would end soon). I enjoyed the rehash of everywhere we'd been, I liked where the story went, and I LOVED how the book ended. Excited for book 8!Lots of ups, some downs, a bunch of twists, and, as always, no shortage of laughs!

D&D Optimizer
Everyone that has played Dungeons and Dragons has had that one guy. They optimize their character using every possible handbook available. Then they want to go into the details and tell you how and why they did what the did, breaking down the character build piece by piece. With great enthusiasm they drone on for hours. That is this book. Kong drones on for hours about the numbers and world he has created. Then he literally will use his character as a mouth piece to say " Damn that's awesome" and pat himself on the back. Books 1-6 were entertaining, but book 7 practically did nothing but present stat sheets. The actual story presented is maybe 20% of the actual book. The remaining 80% is the author telling you how cool his world is and the stat sheets to support his claim. The narrator for the audiobook is excellent.

Another excellent read.
Despite the massive size of this book, we were made to wait until right at the end of this book for the long and much anticipated confrontation between Richter and allies and the Eldritch lord that has been causing trouble for the last little while. Here’s hoping that we don’t have to wait another whole year for the next book since we all want to find out how the cliffhanger from this book is resolved. This book also contains answers to a few of the questions that have been accumulating over the books so far (as well as adding it’s fair share of new ones of course). Quite a few new game mechanics are added.Although this book only covers just over a week of time, there is plenty of action to fill that time. And, as usual, I was left hungry for more which is always a great sign. Time to start cracking the whip and asking Aleron when we can expect book 8...! ;)

Amazing
This is my first time reading a book from this series and I enjoyed it thoroughly and would highly recommend them allBut admittedly there was a certain point in the book where I was hesitant to continue reading and skip ahead a few pages due to a considerably distressing situation.Aside from that, the book captures the great humour, story and curve balls the others have and it is by far one of the best

I really enjoyed the book
I really enjoyed the book. I did like the explanations of the world and the exposition of the plot moving along nicely, if slowly. The introduction of another chaos seed from Earth was excellent and the development of that characters arc was satisfying. However and it is a big however the formatting of the tables was awful in the kindle edition. The previous books tables were much better and used less space. There was a lot of repeated detailed in the statistic tables, stuff that was repeated over and over again. There was a lot of repeated details in the level up messages. Know this - by this time in the series the level up messages are well known, I play a lot of MMORPG's, after a time, you skip repetitive game text, guess what, I did the same for a lot of this type of text.

Good but suffers from. Some of the darker aspects
Loved the length of the book and the series as a whole. My only issue blocking it from becoming 5 starts is the whole gratiutious use of rape as way of make the world darker and adding stakes to what is happening. Now I like the books and even the technique when used properly. But it's starting to feel like whenever the author wants to show somebody is evil. Boom thats what he uses. It's a small thing and the books are amazing but if I had to change one thing that would be it. Oh and the MC suffers from idiot savant syndrome. But I still enjoy him.Gnomes rule!
