BSX Drums HH-800 Hi-Hat Stand

I noticed there were no reviews on this. I paid 40 dollars and got free shipping, I was mainly drawn to this stand because it looked heavy duty and had the swivel base to it(important for us double bass players). I've been playing drums for ten years and recently moved to an apt so I sold my kit. Needless to say I decided I would build a new kit after awhile because I couldn't stand not playing, I didn't want to blow my budget on hardware so I got this stand. I've had(and torn up) DW, pearl, and Tama hi hat stands, and this thing feels even more sturdy than those. I was expecting something cheap and rattle-y but what I received is a heavy, well built and designed stand with the options I wanted and incredibly responsive action. Even though it's 'single chain' the links are massive and feel very stable on my foot. it's stable enough I'm thinking of mounting a clamp and my snare basket to it to free up some foot space around my pedal, it's definitely not going to fall over. This is one of very few items that is low price and high quality. Give it a shot.

I'm using mine with a roland vh-11This thing is sturdy, adjustable spring tension and rotates for a double bass pedal. No complaints!

Basix makes very good drum pedals and stands. I have owned several of their products and have never had them fail.
