DoveMen+Care 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner, Anti Dandruff, 12 oz

I have had dandruff for years. I use head and shoulders religiously. I switched to this because it is available with subscribe and save, and I really like it. The scent is pleasant and masculine without being over the top (I think axe body spray is over the top, for reference). My wife has made positive comments about how my head and beard smell after using this shampoo. I think it smells rather like a blend of pine and mint, but I don't claim to have a world class sniffer.Strangely, this has caffeine listed as an ingredient. Do I notice it? Feel more awake? Get a tingling sensation? NO.

I'm reviewing this solely for its shampooing properties, as I always use a separate conditioner. Dandruff is no fun for anyone, nor is paying outrageous prices for shampoo to control it. I used H&S shampoo for a long time (sometimes Selsun Blue when I felt like spending even more) and, while it did a decent job, I hoped a lower priced alternative that is as effective would come along. Then I came across the Dove line at a fantastic price and gave it a shot. Works exactly the same as the aforementioned brands and saves me money. Now that's something we can all get behind!

I bought this for my teenage son who finds that both washing his hair AND body to be a painful, time-wasting chore. Now he can simply lather up his hair and let the shampoo run down his body, removing some of the crud that collects daily on his skin. Since using Dove Men+Care we can now sit in the car with him without the windows open; he has gotten a girlfriend, and now has more time for video games. Win/win/win.

I'm a 26 year old Asian Man with long hair. I've had issues with dandruff since high school. Used to use head and shoulders (back when I had short hair). Not sure if it's because of the length of my hair of this product but my dandruff isn't going away. My hair, however, does feel stronger and look healthier.

I've used many formulations of zinc pyrithione shampoos over the years and Dove Men+Care is the best of them. The smell is clean and not overpowering, almost like a mild cologne or aftershave. My wife loves the smell. Once after a shower, she told me, "You smell so clean ... like a grown up." Take that, Axe body wash.More important than the grown-up scent, though, is that the shampoo does its job. It prevents flakes and moisturizes your scalp. I keep this shampoo in my Amazon Subscribe & Save and have been using it for about three years now.My only complaint (and the reason this is a 4-star instead of a 5-star review) is the bottle itself. A lot of shampoo bottles have the cap on the bottom, which makes it easy to get every bit of shampoo out. Dove has given its bottle a unique tapered profile with an angled cap that makes it impossible to store upside down. When nearly empty, you have to furiously shake the thing like a bottle of Heinz 57 to get the last of it out. I mean, come on, Dove -- even ketchup bottles have the cap on the bottom now.All-in-all, an excellent product that does its job and leaves you smelling like a grown up.

This is a very nice anti-dandruff shampoo that lathers very well. My hair is cut very short (less than 1/4" all over) so a very small amount goes a long way. In addition to lathering well, it cleans my hair nicely and keeps the occasional minor dandruff problem I encounter during the dry winter months in check. The scent is very nice and subtle. The price is very good as well. I'll be buying this shampoo again and can easily give it 5 stars.

Good shampoo. I almost never use "mens" shampoos because it seems like a gimmick and the fragrance is too musky and gross but this one is fine. Seems to be helping my dandruff when used everyday, and I like that it has caffeine - gives my mornings a tiny jumpstart. I let it sit on my head for a minute or so which probably gets some of the caffeine into my bloodstream. It's also supposed to make the hair root stronger which I can attest to.

i love this product and is now my go to shampoo. i have tried head and shoulder which helped but didnt get rid of my dandruff or help my scalp.i was suffering with dry, itchy, flaky scalp and this shampoo has helped me out so much, it took about 2 weeks of use but it has almost removedall my dandruff and my scalp isnt itchy any more so no more scratching/looking like a dog with fleas
