New Arnott Front Shock

Fantastic product. Fits perfect and installation is fairly simple (assuming you have the right tools). Nice smooth ride and the shock adjusts properly under load. I need to test it later this year with my 6500lb boat, but I'm confident it will be great. So far I havr not had to replace my compressor, but if I do I know where to go!!

I filled the Suburban up with a 7 people, gear, and 500lbs of trailer tongue weight and it rides nice and level now. I can even park it overnight with the trailer on, and it holds the air great with no sag.

I purchased a pair of these to replace the stock rear shocks on my 06 GMC Yukon Denali. The installation was a breeze. I jacked the rear up and put some stands on the rear axle. Then just loosened the bolts that hold the shock in place at the top and bottom. I had to use an extension to get to the top bolt in one the inside and had to move the plastic mud shield on the other but the bolts came off easily. When replacing the new shocks you may have to push on the bottom of the shock in to be able to clear the bottom retainer. Last piece of advice, remember to place the shock with the electronic and air connections facing the rear of the car. I stupidly put the shock in with the connections facing the wrong way and discovered that the connections did not reach the lines in the wrong direction. Good luck!

Terrible product.!!!!!!!! Ordered the shocks to replace stock ones on my 2008 suburban. Only had them on the vehicle 5 months and they both failed. The thing is when they failed my family and I were traveling down the interstate. There was a big boom which sounded like a tire blew. I pulled over to check things out and learned that both shocks failed and broke. One boot blew but both broke. I was not towing anything and we did not have the vehicle loaded down just couple suitcases and us. We were very lucky that nothing else happened I have included pictures of the shocks still on the suburban. I haven't taken them off the vehicle yet but will post pictures when I do. BOTTOM LINE...... TERRIBLE PRODUCT!!!!!!!!

I never had any Service Ride Control light until I changed the shocks to these. I called Arnott for support and they treated me like a red-headed step child since I didn't buy from them directly. Super irritated, but the ride is nice.

Shipping was slow, product was as discribed. Both hold air and ride well. One shock was a little damaged at the top electrical connector. 2004 GMC Yukon XL Denali. Box has rebates for send in old used set back to Arnott. I filled out info and sent them back but never got the rebate.

These were a direct replacement for my OEM electronic shocks and were a easy fit. They bolted right on with no issues with clearance at all. The quality of the rubber bladder was heavy duty.
